struct nmeasim::core::track::TrackPoint · Library API

One point of a track, with the optional values the file recorded for it.

Only position is always present; every optional member is empty when the file does not carry the value or carries one that is not a number.

Name	Description
`position`	Latitude and longitude on WGS 84, validated by the readers to [-90, 90] and [-180, 180] degrees.
`elevation_m`	Elevation in metres as written in the file: GPX `<ele>` or the third KML coordinate.
`time`	UTC time at which the point was recorded, with millisecond precision: GPX `<time>` or the KML `<when>` at the same index as the `<gx:coord>`.
`course_deg`	Course over ground in degrees true, as recorded (GPX `<course>` only).
`speed_kn`	Speed over ground in knots, converted from the metres per second of GPX `<speed>` (GPX only).

geo::Position position

Latitude and longitude on WGS 84, validated by the readers to [-90, 90] and [-180, 180] degrees.

std::optional<double> elevation_m

Elevation in metres as written in the file: GPX <ele> or the third KML coordinate.

std::optional<std::chrono::system_clock::time_point> time

UTC time at which the point was recorded, with millisecond precision: GPX <time> or the KML <when> at the same index as the <gx:coord>.

std::optional<double> course_deg

Course over ground in degrees true, as recorded (GPX <course> only).

Not range-checked or normalised.

std::optional<double> speed_kn

Speed over ground in knots, converted from the metres per second of GPX <speed> (GPX only).
